Madrid Gathering Promotes Dialogue and Diversity

A notable gathering in Madrid welcomed faith communities, cultural voices and social actors to mark the World Day for Cultural Diversity. The event, promoted by Fundación Mejora at the national headquarters of Scientology in Madrid, focused on dialogue, tolerance and mutual understanding. The round table included a representative of the Bahá’í Community of Spain, news eu farmers Fernando Hernández of the Madrid Municipal Police Diversity Management Unit, flamenco artist Tito Losada, a Roma guitarist and composer, and human rights educator Denise González. Speakers offered reflections from faith, culture and public service on how education can strengthen coexistence.

During the event, participants considered themes such as tolerance, social cohesion and the prevention of discrimination. Fundación Mejora connected the initiative with Scientology’s interest in education, prevention and civic responsibility. Ivan Arjona, representative of the Church of Scientology to European and international institutions, said that cultural and religious diversity can become a strength when supported by education and dialogue.
